PIZZA WITH PASSION

We are a new pizzeria in Buxton that offers authentic pizza, made by hand and with heart, passion and time. We use only the best ingredients, simple and fresh, both imported from Italy and locally sourced here in the Peak District. We nurture our dough for over 48 hours to create an airy, light, easy digestible crust. The result, is a traditional Neapolitan style pizza prepared in front of you and fired in an authentic Italian brick oven. We are proud to propose a real pizza, with a real atmosphere.

ONLY THE BEST INGREDIENTS

At La Gaby we only select the best ingredients in our quest for the best pizza. Italian Extra Virgin Olive oil, full-flavoured tomatoes, creamy Fior di latte and fresh basil leaves. Our dough is made fresh everyday, on site, with only four ingredients : Italian ’00’ flour, yeast, sea salt and water. Observe our skilful pizzaiolos stretch your dough by hand, top it with fine ingredients and fire it in our traditional oven.

A FAMILY TRADITION

Our restaurant is born from the meeting of two people and cultures, British and Mediterranean. Gaby and Félix, our grandparents, passed on their passion for good food, their secrets of Mediterranean cuisine and their love of traditions. Sadly when we lost our beloved mamie we decided to name our pizzeria after her, as she was our inspiration. We will be forever grateful to them and to my mum Béa, who helped us realise our dream.
